THE FIELD GUIDE
Dawnwalker Standard vs Eclipse Edition
Both editions include the complete base game. Eclipse adds a digital world compendium, soundtrack and comic; Standard is the simpler choice if you only want to play the campaign.
What each edition includes
The difference is the bundle of digital extras. You do not need Eclipse to get the complete base campaign. Choose it if you want the world material and soundtrack as well as the game.
| Included content | Standard Edition | Eclipse Edition |

Read the price in its region and platform context
The US PC listing checked on October 15, 2026 shows $69.99 for Standard and $79.99 for Eclipse, a $10 difference. These are the checked US digital list prices, not a promise about another region, a console store or a temporary promotion.
Before buying, compare the edition name and included-content list in your own storefront. A physical package or a separately named bundle may include a different set of items. The table above compares the two digital editions, so it should not be used as a physical-box inventory.
What the Eclipse extras are for
The digital world compendium and comic provide additional reading material, while the soundtrack lets you listen outside the game. They are separate from the base campaign and are most useful if the setting, story and music are part of what you want from the purchase.
For soundtrack access, the September 29 announcement confirms MP3 and WAV downloads for Eclipse Edition Content owners in the PC library’s Soundtracks category. It also states that the soundtrack cannot be bought separately. Owning Standard alone is not the entitlement described in that announcement.
Wayfarer armour and preorder wording
The preorder offer gave early access to the Sangoran Wayfarer’s Armor Set. The set can also be obtained in the game, so it should not be treated as armour that only exists for preorder buyers.
A preorder entitlement and the edition’s permanent digital extras are different conditions. Do not assume that a purchase made after launch receives an earlier preorder offer simply because it is Eclipse. Check the currently displayed purchase terms for the package you are considering.
Which edition fits what you want?
Choose Standard when your priority is the complete game and you do not need the digital extras. Choose Eclipse when the compendium, comic and downloadable soundtrack are worth the difference to you.
If you already own the game, check the package’s ownership requirements before buying additional content. This comparison does not establish an upgrade price or guarantee that every region and platform offers the same upgrade path.
For PC players, hardware suitability is a separate decision. Check the minimum and recommended specifications before choosing either edition; buying the larger bundle does not change those requirements.
